Every year Skymac Group starts up Operation Christmas, led by our wonderful Director, Lorraine.
Many of you may not know what happens behind the scenes in preparation for Christmas, so this year we’ve decided to let everyone in on all the hard work that goes into making this day special.
Starting months in advance, Lorraine and her small team of 4 begin collecting and shopping for gifts for over 140 residents. Whether a client has been with us for years, months or even days, Lorraine selects gifts for each individual. Every single client receives a minimum of 3 gifts that we know they want and need, and they’re all separately wrapped and ready to be opened come Christmas Morning, ensuring no one misses out.
This enormous, selfless act from Lorraine and her team deserves huge praise. The hard work, dedication and generosity never goes unnoticed by both the staff and residents.
